Notice of Share-buyback Program
(Pursuant to the Articles of Incorporation and the provisions of Article 165, Paragraph 2 of the Companies Law)

Kansai Electric Power 凱旋門賞の国内馬券., Inc. (the Company) announces that at the meeting of the Board of Directors held today, the Company resolved the purchase of its own shares pursuant to Article 156 of the Company Law of Japan as applied pursuant to Article 165, Paragraph 3.

1. Purpose of share-buyback

The share-buyback program will enable the Company to raise shareholders' value and enhance capital efficiency.

2. Outline of share-buyback

(1) Class of 凱旋門賞の国内馬券 to be repurchased: Kansai Electric ordinary 凱旋門賞の国内馬券
(2) Maximum number of 凱旋門賞の国内馬券: 8,000,000 凱旋門賞の国内馬券
(Representing 0.8% of total outstanding 凱旋門賞の国内馬券)
(3) Maximum amount of repurchase: 20,000 million yen
(4) Repurchase schedule
