Environmental Initiatives
To control marine pollution, wastewater from our thermal power stations is discharged only after being purified in our wastewater treatment facility. In an effort to reduce the impact on the local marine 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞, we discharge the seawater (heated effluent) used in our condensers in a manner that minimizes any rise in water temperature.
In-plant 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞
The effluent from our thermal power stations includes general 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞, cleaning 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞, and sewage. We provide appropriate 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞 treatment facilities to accommodate the respective properties of each type of 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞 and discharge the water only after treatment. The final treated water is recirculated and reused as plant water to promote effective use of 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞.

Heated Effluent
The seawater (heated effluent) used in the condensers of our thermal power stations is discharged only after the rise in the water temperature is minimized. In order to avoid any impact on creatures in the local marine 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞 from the intake of cooling seawater or discharge of heated effluent, the locations of the intakes and discharge water outlets are carefully selected. We are further reducing the area affected by discharge of heated effluent by adopting deep seawater intakes and underwater drainage* depending on the characteristics of power stations locations.
*With this method, the water is drawn and discharged at great depth where the water is of lower 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞. The colder intake water thus limits the difference in 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞 in the vicinity of the outlet, and the discharge water reduces the 東京 競馬 場 凱旋門 賞 rise in the surrounding marine area.
